Width: measuring from its widest point from under the armpit to the other armpit.

Men and women: All unisex and men 's clothing is sized from a man's perspective.

Women 's clothing is carved from a woman's perspective.

To go from a men's or unisex size to a women's size, go up one size. That is, an S for a man is generally an M for a woman.
